Job summary

UMB Bank is seeking a part-time, remote professional to support a group of trust clients. The role handles complex administrative tasks, prepares accounts for compliance review, and resolves issues across systems.

You’ll engage with senior client staff, mentor junior teammates, and participate in pricing and new business processes. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5 years in financial/relationship management, plus strong communication and banking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of related financial and/or customer relationship management experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• CCTS Certified Corporate Trust Specialist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with all levels of customer relationships.
• Ensure accurate/timely setup of issues on all systems and prepare accounts for compliance review.
• Respond to compliance exceptions and resolve complex administrative issues.
• Provide support to senior level client staff and possibly clients outside assigned group.
• Operate independently to service the client and resolve complex/unusual issues.
• Manage day-to-day support for institutional/corporate trust accounts including billing, transactions, cash monitoring, and debt service calculations.
• Represent the team in ongoing projects and process improvements.
• Mentor and develop staff, especially the assigned Associate Relationship Manager.
• Submit new business for approval and price based on account structure with Business Development Officer as needed.
• Review legal documents for operational mechanics and coordinate with legal/compliance.
