Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for the Texas Region to provide strategic leadership on major power delivery programs. The role requires guiding project execution, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring delivery in line with safety and quality standards.

You will oversee multi‑project delivery, mentor teams, and influence executive decisions while managing risk and schedules across the Texas region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or closely related discipline or demonstrated proven equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of relevant post‑education experience in construction management or related areas.
• Recognized subject matter expertise in construction delivery methods, phasing strategies, and technical field operations.
• Proven success leading large, complex construction programs in both public and private sector environments.
• Experience advising on strategic project risks, logistics constraints, and contract compliance.
• Deep knowledge of construction laws, codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex contract documents, scopes, specifications, and project controls data.
• Experience in resolving high‑stakes technical disputes and supporting litigation or claim strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑level technical leadership and strategic oversight on major power delivery construction programs.
• Guide complex project execution and resolve critical field challenges.
• Advise senior leadership and clients on construction delivery strategies and QA/QC plans.
• Mentor senior professionals and promote best practices and continuous improvement.
• Lead cross‑functional teams across geographies and client sectors to deliver projects on schedule.
• Review EPC proposals, cost estimates, scopes, schedules, invoices, and risk contingencies.
• Develop constructability plans, including access roads, pull plans, and sequencing.
• Maintain safety, quality, and schedule requirements across projects.
