Job summary

Ethos is seeking a senior communications strategist to help train an AI language model on professional document tasks. The role focuses on creating and refining AI-generated press releases, memos, talking points, crisis plans, and editorial guidelines.

Fully remote with flexible 5-20 hours per week, start ASAP. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in journalism or corporate communications, strong editorial judgment, and expert-level document and slide craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in journalism, corporate communications, or public relations producing press releases, briefing memos, or editorial content under deadline pressure.
• Track record of shaping messaging for executives or media outlets, with sharp news judgment and command of AP style or equivalent editorial standards.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows: press releases, executive briefs, crisis plans, style guides and calendars.
• Manage editorial quality and brand voice for public and internal communications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate messaging across channels.
