Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Head of Communications to guide AI-assisted document, spreadsheet, and slide deck workflows. You will create, evaluate, and refine messaging for executives and media, drafting press materials, briefing memos, and editorial content under deadline pressure with sharp news judgment and strict editorial standards.

This fully remote, flexible role offers 5–20 hours per week at $70/hour and an ASAP start, enabling you to contribute to a leading foundational AI lab via Ethos's expert

Qualifications

• 5+ years in journalism, corporate communications, or public relations producing press releases, briefing memos, or editorial content under deadline pressure
• Track record of shaping messaging for executives or media outlets, with sharp news judgment and command of AP style or equivalent editorial standards
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows: press releases, executive talking points, briefing memos, crisis plans, editorial style guides, content calendars, media tracking spreadsheets, and newsletter drafts
