Job summary

SouthState Bank in Atlanta seeks the Commercial Portfolio Manager III to support the commercial loan and deposit portfolio of one or more Relationship Managers, providing underwriting, portfolio management and superior client service.

You will analyze financial information to evaluate credit worthiness, assemble commercial loan packages with detailed credit memos, guide loan requests through the Credit Approval Process, monitor large portfolios for covenant compliance, and collaborate with Loan

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in credit analysis and commercial banking.
• 5+ years in portfolio management and underwriting.
• Knowledge of Federal and State lending regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial information to evaluate credit worthiness of loan requests.
• Prepare commercial loan packages with credit memos and background information.
• Guide loan requests through the Credit Approval Process.
