Job summary

SouthState Bank, N.A. is seeking an experienced commercial lender in the Atlanta metro area to grow and manage a loan and deposit portfolio, deliver superior client service, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.

You will develop consultative relationships, underwrite loans, coordinate with Credit, price products, and build connections with COIs and the community to enhance the bank's market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, banking, or related field required.
• Minimum of 10+ years commercial lending or portfolio management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations and bank policies.
• Experience with loan structuring and credit analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop consultative relationships with prospects and clients to provide banking solutions.
• Manage loan and deposit requests to ensure credit quality, structure, and pricing meet needs.
• Underwrite loan requests within Bank policies and coordinate with Credit for approval.
• Maintain and service the assigned loan portfolio.
• Ensure all loans/docs are complete and compliant with regulations.
• Price loans and deposits according to current Bank pricing guidelines.
• Build relationships with COIs and community to enhance Bank image.
