Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team under the guidance of an Account Manager, AE, or Producer, ensuring accurate service and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include tracking policy expirations, processing endorsements, renewals and invoicing, maintaining carrier/vendor data in agency systems, and delivering proactive, high‑quality client service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing/documents.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting info, prepare proposals, bind coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
