Davies North America is seeking a Commercial Liability Claim Adjuster to manage complex GL and property claims remotely across the United States. You will investigate coverage, liability and damages, negotiate with contractors, attorneys and adjusters, and maintain reserves and payments with oversight from your manager.

Reporting to Mark Friederich, you will handle large loss reports, settlements and provide strategic guidance to counsel, while upholding Davies’ standards of integrity and client

Responsabilidades

• Negotiate and settle large exposure commercial general liability and property claims.
• Construction defect, NY Labor Law and Medical Malpractice experience a plus.
• Prepare written status and large loss reports for clients.
• Ability to interpret routine and complex policy contracts and coverage.
• Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to meet deadlines.
• Attend mediations and settlement conferences as necessary.
• Direct and monitor defense counsel to settle litigated claims.
• Provide monetary authority and strategy to counsel to protect client’s money and claims.
