Job summary

Davies North America seeks a Senior Excess Adjuster to investigate, evaluate and resolve high-exposure liability claims, including CGL, auto and professional liability, with emphasis on coverage, reserves, and reporting to carriers.

This remote Florida role requires five+ years of liability claims experience, a Florida All-Lines license, and industry designations (AIC/CPCU). Independently coordinate with TPA, reinsurers, and clients to support complex settlements.

Qualifications

• Active Florida All-Lines Adjuster License (5-20 or 6-20) is required.
• Minimum of five years handling all aspects of liability claims with strong performance.
• Experience with general, auto, complex and professional liability claims.
• Experience handling Public Entity claims and exposures.
• Industry designations such as AIC, CPCU, or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable statutes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Report to excess and reinsurers on all PGIT SIR members.
• Investigate and resolve coverage issues between PGIT/PGCS and the excess carrier.
• Monitor the TPA’s handling and assist in obtaining settlements from excess and reinsurers.
• Document and communicate all claim activity timely per procedures.
• Utilize diary systems to keep excess and reinsurers advised of status.
• Examine and address claim files reserves for accuracy.
