Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a Commercial Liability Claim Adjuster for a fully remote role. You will handle and supervise complex liability and property claims, investigate coverage and damages, and negotiate with contractors, public adjusters and attorneys throughout the life of the claim.

You will establish reserves, prepare large loss reports, and communicate with managers and clients. Prior experience with specialty claims and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• Investigate and negotiate complex liability and property claims.
• Interpret routine and complex policy contracts and coverage.
• Maintain accurate file documentation and timely communication with stakeholders.
• Strong data gathering, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and settle large exposure commercial general liability and property claims.
• Experience with construction defect, NY Labor Law, and Medical Malpractice a plus.
• Prepare written status and large loss reports for clients.
• Direct and monitor defense counsel to settle litigated claims.
• Attend mediations and settlement conferences as necessary.
• Provide monetary authority and strategy to counsel to protect client funds.
