Paylocity is looking for a strategic-thinking commercial counsel to join our legal team. In this role, you will manage commercial contracting, negotiate a wide range of agreements, and support a fast-paced sales organization.

You will shape policies and processes to help the legal department scale with the business, collaborating with cross-functional teams across finance, privacy and security.

Qualifikationen

• JD required and active license in good standing to practice law in the US.
• 5+ years’ relevant experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements of varying complexity.
• Experience with sales support in SaaS or technology contracting.

Aufgaben

• Independently review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of agreements such as SaaS/subscription agreements, technology licensing, channel partnerships, and other contracts ranging in substance and complexity.
• Redline, negotiate, and handle end-to-end contracting on client-facing engagements.
• Manage workflows governing intake, review and approval with high volume of contracting requests.
• Work with contract specialists, finance, privacy and security teams on agreement review and negotiation.
• Drive projects related to templates, playbooks and other resource creation and updates.
• Contribute to process and policy improvements regarding contract support to help legal team scale.
