Job summary

Ensono seeks a Principal Solution Architect – Cloud to guide enterprise transformations in the United States. You will act as a senior technology advisor, delivering reference architectures and multi-year roadmaps while collaborating with Sales, Consulting and Client Success teams.

Expect leadership in discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and executive-level engagements. This role requires US citizenship and offers remote work with travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, consulting, solution engineering, or technical leadership roles within managed services, cloud, infrastructure, hosting, or datacenter environments.
• Client-facing consulting/managed services background – must have designed solutions for enterprise clients in outsourcing, cloud, infrastructure, or hosting environments.
• Pre-sales experience OR post-sales enterprise architecture with strong customer-facing track record and ability to lead discovery sessions, design workshops, translate business requirements into technical strategies, and engage senior stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure domains: compute, storage, networking, security, backup, disaster recovery, automation, DevOps, IT governance.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of: AWS, Azure, or GCP, including understanding of landing zones, IaaS/PaaS consumption models, cloud migration patterns (on-prem to cloud).
• Demonstrated ability to develop multi-year technology transformation and modernization roadmaps that align business objectives, operating models, financial outcomes, risk considerations, and technology strategy.
• Ability to lead client discovery sessions, assessments, architecture workshops, and solution design engagements, translating business requirements into executable technical strategies.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience supporting solution pricing, cost modeling, business case development, financial analysis, and contract negotiations.
• Thorough understanding of enterprise sales processes and experience leading technical workstreams throughout complex pursuit lifecycles.
• Exceptional executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and storytelling skills, with ability to influence and engage leaders.
• Proven ability to create high-quality solution documentation, architecture deliverables, executive presentations, proposals, and statements of work.
• Demonstrated success collaborating across sales, delivery, engineering, product, operations, and executive leadership.
• Must be a US Citizen per client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives as Lead Solution Architect for enterprise programs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Consulting and Solution teams to craft Pursuit, Solution and Sales strategies for Enterprise clients.
• Conduct discovery, assessment and solution development workshops to craft winning solutions.
• Develop and document solutions meeting client requirements and adapt to changing industry needs with transformation focus.
• Present technical solutions and business cases to diverse audiences.
• Gain executive buy-in for complex solutions through executive-level discussions.
• Work with pricing teams to create simple pricing to multi-year financial models.
• Offer consultative guidance to gain client confidence as a trusted advisor.
• Align with Product Management to drive product enhancements and roadmap changes.
• Drive stability and innovation in client environments and create migration plans.
• Push for higher value services aligned with Ensono offerings.
• Lead complex projects from an Architecture perspective with PMO collaboration.
• Assist the team as architecture lead through migration milestones (testing, cut-over, post-cut-over trouble-shooting, hand-off).
