Job summary

ComPsych Corporation seeks a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to secure our cloud-first platform. Own cloud security posture, IAM, network segmentation, and AI security controls for a global, remote-enabled product stack.

Bring expertise in CSPM, CWPP, CIEM, and threat modeling to drive robust security across data, applications, and infrastructure. Role emphasizes on-call incident handling, vulnerability management, and secure software practices, with a focus on HIPAA/GDPR-aligned privacy.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Security certifications such as CISSP or cloud security specialty are a plus.
• 6 to 9 years of security engineering experience with hands on cloud experience.
• Experience building controls as code, policy as code, and on-call incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Secure the cloud by design and in code across AWS and Azure, with CSPM/CWPP/CIEM.
• Shift security left in CI/CD, including SAST/DAST and SBOM scanning.
• Design segmentation and zero trust access, firewalls, WAFs, and traffic inspection for cloud/hybrid networks.
• Lead data classification, encryption, tokenization, and DLP, with privacy by design for regulated health data.
• Design guardrails for AI security, including prompt injection and data leakage controls.
• Tune SIEM, coordinate vulnerability management, and drive incident response and remediation.
• Maintain security baselines and configuration compliance; coach engineers across teams.
