24 Hour Home Care is seeking a Security Engineer to implement and improve security across endpoint, network, cloud, and data environments. You will work with Security Operations, Infrastructure, GRC, and external providers to strengthen controls and ensure HIPAA, SOC 2 alignment.

The role focuses on detecting threats, data protection, vulnerability management, and automation, with hands-on responsibilities across SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, and cloud security. Remote-friendly in the U.S.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience implementing enterprise security technologies (SIEM/XDR, EDR, DLP, IAM, vulnerability scanning, firewalls, or cloud security controls).
• Experience supporting security incidents, investigations, detection engineering, and automation using PowerShell, Python, APIs, or similar tools.
• Healthcare or regulated environments experience and familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, NIST CSF is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Implement, maintain, and optimize security technologies across endpoint, network, cloud, identity, data, and applications.
• Support security monitoring and incident response activities, including SIEM, XDR, EDR, investigations, and coordination with external providers.
• Implement and maintain DLP and IAM controls, including access reviews and least privilege.
• Manage vulnerability scanning and remediation, prioritizing findings and improving configurations.
• Automate security workflows, reporting, and control validation with documentation and runbooks.
