Job summary

Ambience Healthcare is seeking a senior security-focused engineer to design, build, and operate secure products. You’ll own security analysis, risk decisions, and tooling across high-risk changes, with a strong emphasis on cloud security in AWS and AI-enabled contexts.

You’ll collaborate with engineering from design to verification, guiding security requirements, threat models, and effective mitigations while advancing secure, scalable solutions for healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• You’ll bring senior product security judgment and deep engineering fundamentals.
• Shipped production code and automated security enhancements.
• Strong knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, JWT).
• Experience with threat modeling, secure code review, and multi-tenant SaaS security.
• Familiarity with AWS security concepts and CNAPP operations.

Responsibilities

• Secure design for high-risk changes from design through verification.
• Own a credible, risk-based security backlog and drive mitigations.
• Develop security tooling and automation to scale risk-reduction.
• Lead cloud risk reduction during AWS migrations and guardrail setup.
• Improve security across production, development, and software delivery environments.
