Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8+ years in systems, network, or cloud engineering roles in public clouds.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Ability to obtain Public Trust and U.S. citizenship for a remote federal IT position.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, compute, storage, and security groups.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure architectures with virtual networks and security boundaries.
• Configure compute, storage, and networking services on major cloud platforms.
• Develop and maintain IaC templates and automation scripts for provisioning and deployment.
• Monitor, optimize, and lead incident response for cloud environments.
• Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to align designs with requirements.
• Define standards, runbooks, and documentation for cloud infrastructure and change management.
• Evaluate new cloud services and tools to improve scalability and efficiency.
