Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Cloud Computing Support Lead to serve as the senior technical expert for enterprise cloud infrastructure hosting mission-critical workloads in a regulated environment.

The role designs, implements, and operates secure, resilient cloud platforms across major providers, leads incident response and change management, and mentors engineers on IaC, containerization, and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8-15 years of relevant experience designing, implementing, and operating complex infrastructure or cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud) including production deployments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Extensive experience leading incident, problem, and change management for high-visibility services.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise cloud environments across major providers.
• Translate requirements into scalable landing zones and platform standards.
• Implement and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines for auditable provisioning.
• Design and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve reliability.
• Apply cloud security best practices including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and key management.
• Lead troubleshooting and RCA for complex incidents across teams.
• Develop standards, patterns, SOPs, diagrams, and recovery procedures.
• Mentor engineers on automation, scripting, and reliability practices.
