Job summary

ASM Research seeks a Cloud Computing Support Lead who will serve as the senior technical expert for enterprise cloud infrastructure hosting mission-critical workloads in regulated environments. You will design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, and mentor engineers on IaC, containers, and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience designing, implementing, and operating complex infrastructure or cloud environments in an enterprise or federal IT setting.
• Significant hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Demonstrated expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Extensive experience leading incident, problem, and change management activities for high‑visibility or mission‑critical services.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise cloud environments across major providers.
• Translate requirements into scalable cloud architectures and platform standards.
• Implement and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines for repeatable provisioning.
• Design and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve reliability.
• Apply cloud security best practices including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and key management.
• Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for complex cloud incidents.
