Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Sr. Clinical Project Manager (Homebased/100% Remote) to lead global oncology-focused CRO studies from start-up to closeout.

You will manage budgets, timelines, vendor relationships, and quality across trials, serving as the primary client liaison with strong leadership and communication skills. The role requires 4+ years of CRO-based PM experience, 7+ years in clinical research, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience from a CRO.
• 7+ years of clinical research experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact and escalation point for assigned clinical study projects.
• Coordinate and oversee external vendors to meet timeline and budget.
• Manage study budget and change orders to ensure scope and profitability.
• Collaborate with clinical operations to deliver clinical activities and oversee activities when needed.
• Monitor project profitability, billable hours, and forecasting for business objectives.
• Develop robust project plans with timelines and risk management strategies.
• Ensure quality management, eTMF readiness, and CAPA/quality improvements.
• Prepare project status updates and KPIs for clients and management.
• Lead internal and client-facing meetings and align on scope and deliverables.
• Communicate protocol/study issues and implement corrective actions.
