Job summary

Accountix is a fully remote outsourced accounting firm serving nonprofits and growing businesses across the United States. You will own a portfolio of clients, run monthly financial review calls with executives, and prepare financials for boards and audits.

You will lead cash flow conversations, manage budgeting, and onboard new clients to our systems. On larger engagements you’ll partner with a Client CFO on strategy and modeling, with a clear path toward CFO responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in CAS or outsourced accounting managing multiple clients.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online with accrual close and financial statement review.
• Experience explaining financials to non-accountants and leading client meetings.
• Experience with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and Excel/Sheets modeling.
• US W2 eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of nonprofit and growing-client engagements, handling the full relationship.
• Lead monthly financial review calls with executives and explain financial changes and implications.
• Prepare financials for board meetings, Finance Committee meetings, and audits.
• Own cash flow conversations and the budgeting process; onboard new clients onto our systems and workflow.
• Collaborate with a Client CFO on strategy, forecasts, and modeling on larger engagements.
