Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking a Manager to join the Technical Accounting team within the CFO Advisory practice. The role is remote with potential office presence for client work, meetings, or trainings.

The successful candidate will lead a multi-industry accounting function, oversee cost accounting initiatives, and contribute to GAAP-based projects. A CPA or equivalent designation and 7+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
• Professional designation such as CPA/CMA/CA is required.
• Driven, self-starter and accountable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to present to C-suite and senior management.
• Leadership of cost accounting and controller projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, collections, payroll, and general accounting for clients across industries.
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and monthly financial reports.
• Develop and analyze cost accounting standards and processes.
• Assess production costs and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare internal cost reports and audit support.
• Drive best practices for inventory and procurement processes.
• Coordinate annual audits and manage staff projects.
• Develop cash forecasts and management reports.
