Sedgwick, a leading risk and claims solutions provider, is seeking a Sr. Claims Specialist in Professional Liability with remote work options. The role focuses on analyzing complex E&O, D&O, EPL claims, coordinating investigations, and managing costs while delivering high-level client service.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex professional liability claims and manage cases to timely resolution.
• Conduct investigations and prepare investigation reports for new events and actions.
• Negotiate settlements up to designated authority level.
• Set and monitor reserves throughout the life of a claim.
• Coordinate defense by assigning attorneys and reviewing invoices.
• Apply cost containment strategies to reduce claim costs.
• Identify fraud, subrogation, and recovery opportunities.
• Represent company in depositions, mediations, and trial monitoring as needed.
• Maintain client communication and proper documentation of files.
• Mentor staff and delegate tasks as appropriate.
