Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Sr. Claims Specialist, Professional Liability, to work remotely in the United States.

The role involves analyzing complex professional liability claims (E&O, D&O, EPL), managing case strategy, and coordinating defense teams to control claim costs while maintaining superior client service. Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of claims management experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and processes complex professional liability claims through investigation and information gathering to determine exposure.
• Negotiates claim settlement up to designated authority level.
• Calculates reserves and monitors reserve adequacy throughout claim life.
• Coordinates legal defense and reviews attorney invoices; ensures compliance with client guidelines.
