Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Five (5) years or more experience in Casualty Claims required.
• Adjuster License(s) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjusts claims and directs outside counsel and vendors.
• Supervises outside vendors to ensure compliant handling.
• Alerts Claims Manager to legal changes affecting the Liability program.
• Assists in identifying exposures and recommends solutions.
• Interacts with field operations, legal, safety, customers, carriers, and claimants.
• Interacts with Law Department on significant cases and updates field staff.
• Recommends reserves to reflect probable payout.
• Completes detailed internal reports.
• Interacts with carriers and reinsurers on reporting thresholds.
