This role investigates, adjusts, and directs defense counsel, adjusters, experts, and other vendors to manage claims. Key responsibilities include supervising outside vendors, flagging regulatory changes, identifying exposures, interacting with field operations, and setting reserves.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years or more experience in Casualty Claims required.
• Adjuster License(s) are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjusts claims and directs outside counsel and vendors.
• Supervises vendors to ensure claims are handled properly per jurisdiction.
• Alerts management to changes in laws affecting the liability program.
• Identifies exposures and recommends solutions.
• Interacts with field operations, counsel, safety, customers, carriers, and claimants.
• Recommends reserves to reflect probable payout and prepares internal reports.
