Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Claims Representative to handle complex and mid-to-high exposure bodily injury and property damage claims under Ryder's self-administered liability program.

The role involves investigating, adjusting, and directing defense counsel and other vendors, while coordinating with field operations, legal counsel, and carriers to manage reserves and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Five+ years of casualty claims experience.
• Adjuster licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjusts claims and directs outside defense counsel and vendors.
• Supervises outside vendors to ensure claims are handled per jurisdiction.
• Alerts Claims Manager to changes in laws impacting the liability program.
• Assists in exposure identification and recommends solutions.
• Interacts with field management, legal counsel, safety managers, customers, and carriers.
