Reliance Matrix is seeking a Customer Care Sr. Representative to manage communications, documentation, and routine inquiries, ensuring claims examiners can focus on core work. The role emphasizes empathy, confidentiality, and high-volume call handling.

The ideal candidate will have call center experience, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with MS Office and web-based tools, with a remote-friendly environment and hybrid schedules.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• 2-3 years of call center experience or equivalent customer service experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse workforce.
• Experience using web-based programs.
• High speed home internet for Remote/Teleworker.

Responsibilities

• Providing Claimant Details: informs claimants about short-term disability, insured or self-insured claims, and statutory/leave claims.
• Managing inbound calls: handles client and claimant inquiries and resolves issues about claims and leave processes.
• Performing outbound tasks: conducts outbound calls and follow-ups for selected clients/claimants.
• Accurate documentation: files and documents client information in the system for claims examiners.
• Answering claims questions: provides routine claims/process information to streamline workflow.
• Technical issue resolution: resolves routine administrative issues in source systems supporting claims processing.
• Maintaining confidentiality: adheres to HIPAA and protects sensitive claimant data.
• Supporting integrated claims: assists claimants to ensure 1st call resolutions.
