Venbrook is seeking an experienced Claims Examiner to manage General Liability, Construction Defect, and Professional Liability claims from notice through resolution in a fully remote role. The position requires handling complex, multi-state files and leveraging coverage analysis and litigation management skills.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of commercial claims experience, a multi-state license (NY preferred), and strong knowledge of tower and stackable coverage structures.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of commercial claims handling experience in General Liability, Construction Defect, and/or Professional Liability.
• Tower (vertical) and stackable (layered) coverage structures knowledge.
• Active multi-state adjuster license required.
• New York adjuster license preferred.
• Prior TPA or third-party claims administration experience preferred.
• Familiarity with client-specific handling instructions and billing guidelines is a plus.
• Experience directing outside defense counsel, managing litigation budgets, and attending mediations.
• NY regulatory familiarity is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret legal documents including complaints, contracts, certificates of insurance, expert reports, and deposition transcripts.
• Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while managing multiple files.

Mansioni

• Manage a caseload of General Liability, Construction Defect, and Professional Liability claims from first notice of loss through resolution.
• Conduct thorough coverage analysis and issue timely coverage position letters; apply tower and stackable coverage structures.
• Investigate claims by gathering and analyzing contracts, certificates of insurance, site records, expert reports, demand letters, and statements.
• Direct outside defense counsel, monitor litigation budgets, attend mediations and settlement conferences.
• Maintain organized, compliant file documentation in the claims system and provide status updates to insureds, brokers, and carriers.
• Stay current on GL, construction defect, and professional liability law and multi-state regulatory updates.
