Job summary

Venbrook Group seeks an experienced Claims Adjuster to manage a diverse caseload including General Liability, Construction Defect, and Professional Liability from first notice to resolution. This fully remote role prefers candidates in Central or Eastern time zones with multi-state licensure and strong coverage-writing ability.

Candidate should have 3–5 years of commercial claims handling, experience with tower and stackable programs, and comfort directing outside defense counsel and litigation

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial claims handling experience in General Liability, Construction Defect, and Professional Liability.
• Active multi-state adjuster license required; New York license preferred; willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Experience directing outside defense counsel and managing litigation budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of GL, construction defect, and professional liability claims from first notice through resolution.
• Conduct coverage analysis and issue timely coverage letters applying tower and stackable structures.
• Investigate claims by gathering contracts, certificates of insurance, site records, expert reports, and statements.
• Direct outside defense counsel, monitor budgets, attend mediations and depositions as required.
• Maintain reserves, document rationale, and ensure file diary and audit compliance.
• Communicate status and strategy to insureds, brokers, and carriers; present at client reviews.
