Job summary

Venbrook Claims is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to manage a caseload of General Liability, Construction Defect, and Professional Liability claims, from first notice of loss through resolution. This is a fully remote position with a preference for candidates in the Central or Eastern time zones, and multi-state licensure is required; NY licensure is preferred.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of commercial claims handling experience and working knowledge of tower and stackable coverage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of commercial claims handling experience across GL, construction, and professional liability.
• Active multi-state adjuster license; NY license preferred; willingness to obtain other licenses.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload for General Liability, Construction Defect, and Professional Liability claims from first notice to resolution.
• Conduct coverage analysis, draft coverage letters, apply tower/stackable structures, ensure prompt payment.
• Investigate claims with contracts, COIs, site records and expert reports to assess liability and reserves.
• Direct outside defense counsel, manage litigation budgets, attend mediations and depositions.
• Maintain reserves, document in file notes, and communicate status to insureds, brokers, and carriers.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and coordinate with subrogation team.
