Job summary

JBS International seeks a Technical Expert II in a remote capacity with optional hybrid arrangements near Bethesda or San Mateo. The TE II will lead design and delivery of training and technical assistance for child welfare projects, providing coaching to staff and consultants and supervising teams as needed.

This role focuses on CQI, data-driven improvement, and stakeholder engagement to advance safety, permanency, and well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Human Services, Public Health, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional expertise in content area, ensuring that subject area knowledge remains current; identify trends, emerging issues, policies, and evidence-based practices and share them with program staff and clients.
• Maintain communication with assigned project/client contacts, responding to requests; participating in meetings; providing up-to-date information about trends, issues, policies, and best practices.
• Ensure T/TA activities meet all contractual obligations and requirements of the client/contract.
• Manage, guide, and monitor the design and delivery of all TA; ensure all T/TA activities are documented in a timely fashion.
• Identify trends in T/TA needs, analyze effective approaches, design long-term strategies for jurisdictions.
