Job summary

White Cap seeks a skilled Business Systems Analyst to gather and document business requirements, ensuring IT solutions align with strategic goals. You will research, design, test, and leverage business solutions while assisting in planning departmental roadmaps.

Responsibilities include stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and sign-off of artifacts. Strong emphasis on ROI, cost assessments, and managing project life cycles within IT tollgate processes.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline with 5–8 years of experience, or MS/MA with 3–5 years.
• Certification is required in some areas.
• Functional experience leading software data conversions is REQUIRED.
• Experience with RentalMan data is PREFERRED.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Business Stakeholders and IT infrastructure teams to gather and document business processes and needs.
• Perform requirements analysis and translate into detailed functional specifications for development.
• Coordinate requirements and testing activities; sign-off artifacts and QA support.
• Assist in testing, training plan development and training, and user documentation.
• Develop business case, ROI calculations, cost assessments, benefits, and risk analysis.
• Manage project scope and timeline from conception to implementation; may act as Project Manager on approved projects.
