Job summary

Whitecap in the United States seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to gather, analyze, and document requirements for internal customers. You will ensure technology solutions align with business goals and help plan departmental roadmaps.

You will partner with stakeholders, translate needs into functional specs, assist in testing and training, and support project scope and timelines from conception to implementation. A strong IT services background is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline; 5+ years of experience in a related field; Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with Business Stakeholders and IT teams to define, gather, and document business processes and needs; translate into detailed functional specifications for development.
• Coordinate requirements for applications; assist in testing, training plan development and user documentation; participate in QA processes.
• Analyze current state and emerging tech to add value; develop detailed business case, ROI calculations, and cost/benefit analyses.
• Work with the project team to manage project scope and timeline from conception to implementation; may act as a Project Manager on approved projects.
• Coordinate relationship and communication with the client and prioritize IT service delivery; conduct root cause analysis for defect resolution.
