Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to provide process, design and analysis support for interfacing business applications. You will drive requirements elicitation, lead cross-functional work, and serve as a liaison between business units and Technology Delivery to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements include extensive IT experience, strong communication, and expertise in SDLC/Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Six years IT experience with software development background.
• Four years as a business analyst or related role with PM/BPM/Relationship/Operations/Quality focus.
• Experience with traditional Waterfall SDLC and/or Agile/Lean.
• Interacts with management and staff to gather and negotiate requirements.
• Strong presentation, verbal and written skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between Technology Delivery team and LOBs.
• Collaborate with Technology and LOB peers to document business needs and deliver solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand processes and strategies.
• Establish requirements using process and workflow analysis and involve stakeholders.
• Facilitate elicitation sessions and walkthroughs to plan, capture, analyze, and validate requirements.
• Perform current state analysis of existing systems and applications.
• Prepare UI diagrams and business/workflow diagrams for small to large projects.
• Understand long-term objectives and suggest strategies including technical innovations.
• Maintain relationships to develop acceptance criteria and plans for UAT.
• Assist pre-planning activities (business case, estimates, risk, stakeholders).
• Facilitate routine status meetings with stakeholders.
• Attend business unit management meetings as needed.
• Become deeply knowledgeable about core business functions and workflows.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, Change Management, and CRC policies.
• Coach and mentor junior Business Analysts.
