The candidate should have a background in marketing or business development, with CA workers' comp knowledge, and be prepared for significant travel up to 60% annually. A company car is provided for travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years of experience in strategic business development, marketing, or related role.
• Preferably in California workers' compensation.
• Experience in underwriting, loss control, or claims is a plus.
• Travel up to 60% annually.

Responsibilities

• Market Republic Indemnity products and services in California to drive profitable new business growth and high renewal retention.
• Develop a productive agency plant/territory with marketing plans and manage agency relationships to achieve production objectives.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key agencies, offering tailored insurance solutions to increase retention and satisfaction.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats for strategic decisions.
• Travel as required, including overnight travel.
