Syms Strategic Group, LLC seeks an experienced requirements analyst for a 100% remote role supporting Veterans Affairs. You will capture and elaborate software requirements, document user stories, and manage backlogs in JIRA for an Agile product team.

You will collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to ensure traceability, acceptance criteria, and effective communication. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust are required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in software development with SAFe methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience conducting independent research to support complex questions.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills integrating information from multiple sources.
• Proficiency with JIRA for requirements, testing, and defect management.
• Experience in large, Agile software development or data integration projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
• Collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to document requirements in an ALM tool.
• Manage requirements in an ALM tool.
• Perform Agile requirement management for a product team.
• Analyze user needs to determine functional, cross-functional, and technical requirements.
• Conduct user interviews and develop business process models and specifications.
• Gather and document business, functional, technical, and non-technical requirements.
• Elaborate user stories and decompose into backlog items with acceptance criteria.
• Use ALM tool (JIRA) for requirements, testing, and defect management.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineers to assess impact on technical solutions.
• Write and deliver project documents to the client.
• Identify and manage risks and issues impacting progress.
• Develop and maintain project/product backlogs and change control.
• Provide clear qualitative and quantitative information to teams and stakeholders.
