Job summary

Tamarind Intelligence is seeking two Senior Backend Engineers for a long-term, international project in the automotive sector. You will work on a core platform that manages vehicle configurations and product information, using a microservices architecture running on Docker/Kubernetes.

You will design and implement backend services with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS, integrate REST APIs and event-driven messaging, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a 100% remote setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software/Backend Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
• Develop and evolve a microservices-based architecture.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Work with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Azure Event Hubs and IBM MQ.
• Contribute to deployment, operation and maintenance of applications on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with architects, product teams and other engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions.
