Job summary

Masterborn 2 is seeking a skilled Middle Backend Developer (Node.js) for a fully remote role serving US, UK and European clients. You will work with TypeScript, React, Node.js, SQL, and AWS in a fast-paced agile environment, building robust backend services and APIs, while integrating AI-powered features.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial experience in Node.js.
• Experience with at least one Node.js backend framework (Express.js, NestJS, Fastify).
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with static typing and advanced types.
• Experience with SQL databases and ORM/Query builders (Prisma, Knex).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases or in-memory stores.
• Understanding of AI/LLMs and integrating AI-powered features.
• English level B2; Polish level C1 for team communication.

Responsibilities

• Write readable, testable JavaScript/TypeScript code with OOP patterns.
• Own backend features from requirements to deployment.
• Write documentation and participate in code reviews.
• Design/modify basic DB structures and API contracts.
• Propose pragmatic improvements and active team participation.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate needs into solutions.
• Use AI tools responsibly, verify outputs for production quality.
