Headway is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer in the United States. You will design and build the backend powering AI-enabled clinical systems, insurance billing, and patient-centric data views, while ensuring financial integrity in a multi-provider marketplace.

You’ll work with Python and TypeScript, deploy on AWS, and tackle complex healthcare data with strong emphasis on maintainability, security, and scalable architecture. Remote-friendly with a national scope.

• Maintain Financial Integrity with idempotent, consistent ledger services
• Collaborate with ML and product teams to ship end-to-end features
