Job summary

Koniag Government Services is seeking a Senior AWS DevSecOps Engineer to support our CRM, Integration, and Platform Services teams. This remote role requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust and will focus on secure, automated cloud delivery across AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC tooling.

You will implement secure CI/CD pipelines, identity and access controls, and platform automation, collaborating with government stakeholders, engineers, and cybersecurity teams to deliver mission-critical digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in DevSecOps, cloud security, and platform automation in complex environments.
• Hands-on AWS implementation, configuration, development, integration, testing, or operations.
• Experience with Agile delivery and translating stakeholder needs into outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and sustain AWS capabilities using AWS services, EKS, ECS, Terraform, Vault, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and secure deployment automation.
• Translate requirements into practical technical solutions for government workloads.
• Support platform architecture, release readiness, and production transitions.
• Develop reusable patterns, automation, and runbooks to reduce risk.
• Troubleshoot issues across configuration, data, APIs, identity, and performance.
