Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead DevSecOps and cloud transformation across a large AWS enterprise, including GovCloud. Location is Remote with EST hours.

You will design pipelines, automate security scanning, and drive migration from Jenkins to GitLab CI/CD to deliver secure software faster. Ideal candidates have extensive AWS and DoD/FedRAMP exposure, strong leadership, and a track record of building self-service onboarding and platform-as-a-product capabilities for

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Extensive AWS, DevSecOps, security automation, and release management experience.
• Experience maturing CI/CD toward progressive delivery.
• Experience building self-service onboarding with Terraform and GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines with reusable templates and gates.
• Automate SAST/DAST/DAST and secrets scanning with policy-based gates.
• Integrate container scanning and Kubernetes security benchmarks.
• Lead migrations from Jenkins to GitLab CI/CD and standardize patterns.
• Operate OpenShift ROSA and Amazon EKS across AWS GovCloud and Commercial.
