Job summary
Koniag Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Microsoft DevSecOps Engineer to support Azure cloud platform engineering, AKS operations and secure delivery for government projects. The role emphasizes embedding security, automation and compliance into pipelines while collaborating with stakeholders across disciplines.
The successful candidate will work remotely and pursue a Public Trust clearance, with background in DevSecOps, cloud security and enterprise automation.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in DevSecOps, cloud security and platform automation.
- Hands-on Azure implementation, configuration, development or operations.
- Experience with Agile delivery and translating needs into outcomes.
- Experience with federal government IT environments or regulated delivery.
- Experience with 508 compliance, cybersecurity, auditability and data protection.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure capabilities using AKS, Bicep, DevOps tools and monitoring.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, IaC, container ops, observability and secure deployment.
- Translate security, accessibility and operational requirements into solutions.
- Support platform architecture, release readiness and production transition.
- Develop reusable patterns, standards, automation and runbooks.
- Troubleshoot complex platform issues across code, data, APIs and security.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, data, infrastructure and QA teams.
