Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Senior AWS Amazon Connect Engineer to lead design, deployment, and operations for an AI-enabled omnichannel contact center. The role owns Amazon Connect architecture, contact flows, routing, Salesforce integration, and Lex/V2, deploying voice and chat capabilities in a secure AWS environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud/contact-center engineering experience.
• Hands-on Amazon Connect experience with Salesforce integration.
• Strong AWS architecture and networking capabilities.
• Experience in regulated environments and FedRAMP familiarity.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Amazon Connect environments for voice and chat.
• Build and maintain contact flows, IVR, routing, and agent workspace.
• Integrate Amazon Connect with Lex, Lambda, Polly, Bedrock, and other AWS services.
• Support Salesforce Contact Center with SCC-AC, Omni-Channel, and OAuth workflows.
• Develop dashboards and provide performance/tuning recommendations.
• Apply least-privilege IAM, encryption, and FedRAMP-aligned security controls.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and program leadership for migration to AWS-native stack.
