Job summary

Volantsoft Inc, a remote-first tech services provider, seeks an AWS Connect Developer to design and implement scalable contact center workflows. You will build Node.js-based Lambda functions, integrate Connect with Zoho and other CRMs, and ensure secure, compliant data flows.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, system integrations, and leveraging AWS AI/ML services to enhance IVR and chat automation in a long-term, fully remote engagement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in Amazon Connect.
• Strong Node.js backend development skills, APIs, and system integrations.
• Hands-on Amazon Connect experience: contact flows, queues, routing, reporting.
• Experience integrating Amazon Connect with Zoho CRM or other CRMs (Salesforce/ServiceNow).
• Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and OAuth-based integrations.
• Solid understanding of IAM security, RBAC, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimize Amazon Connect contact flows for omni-channel interactions.
• Develop Node.js-based Lambda functions and backend services.
• Build integrations between Amazon Connect and CRMs, including Zoho, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Zendesk.
• Enable bi-directional data flows between Connect and Zoho/other platforms.
• Implement real-time event streaming and reporting with AWS services (Kinesis, DynamoDB, Athena, S3).
• Leverage AWS AI/ML services (Lex, Polly, Transcribe, Comprehend) to enhance IVR/chatbot automation.
• Collaborate with business teams to automate workflows in Zoho and other tools.
• Ensure data security, access controls, and compliance via IAM.
• Troubleshoot issues and deliver continuous improvements.
