Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a skilled developer to design, implement, and optimize complex enterprise software solutions in a healthcare data environment. You will work with data modelers, architects, business analysts, and SMEs to deliver reliable data transformations and reporting tools.

The role emphasizes creating and maintaining SQL Server objects, C# development, and SSIS workflows, with opportunities to contribute to data warehousing and EDW feeds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field with 4–6 years of related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• 3+ years of C# development and 3+ years of SSIS development.
• Experience with EDI and Healthcare/Managed Care data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex enterprise software solutions.
• Collaborate with data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and SMEs across the enterprise.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects (procedures, functions, views, tables) for data staging and transformation.
• Own, maintain, and enhance the in-house letter application that generates Word documents and converts to PDF.
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion workflows.
