Job summary
Centene Corporation seeks a skilled data engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise software solutions across the data warehouse, ETL, and reporting layers. You will collaborate with data modelers, architects, business analysts, and SMEs to deliver reliable data processing and letter-generation data flows.
The role requires strong SQL Server (T-SQL), C#, and SSIS experience, with focus on performance, data quality, and production support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field and 4–6 years of related experience.
- Equivalent experience reflecting the level of this position.
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred.
- Experience with healthcare data and EDI is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions across the data ecosystem.
- Collaborates with data modelers, architects, and SMEs to deliver design and technical analysis.
- Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects and ETL processes.
- Own and maintain in-house letter generation and related SSIS workflows.
- Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch; provide production support.
