Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise data solutions in a healthcare-focused environment. You will build and optimize SQL Server objects, develop C# components, and maintain SSIS-based ETL processes to support data transformation and letter generation.

You will collaborate with data modelers, architects, business analysts, and SMEs to ensure robust design, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, index creation, performance tuning).
• Requires 3+ years of C# development.
• Requires 3+ years of SSIS development.
• Experience with EDI preferred.
• Experience with Healthcare/Managed Care Data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements enterprise software solutions.
• Develops and maintains SQL Server objects to stage and transform data for correspondence.
• Owns and enhances the in-house letter application that outputs Word and PDF documents.
• Develops and supports SSIS packages for ETL and document workflows.
• Schedules, monitors, and troubleshoots jobs using ActiveBatch; provides production support.
