Job summary

Centene Corporation in the United States seeks a seasoned software developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise solutions across the data and reporting landscape. You will collaborate with data modelers, architects, analysts, data stewards, and SMEs to deliver design, development, testing, implementation, and support across the enterprise.

The role emphasizes SQL Server development (T-SQL), C#, SSIS, ETL workflows, and data warehousing.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field and 4–6 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience reflecting the level of this position.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions.
Create, optimize, and re-engineer T-SQL stored procedures, functions, views, and tables for data staging and transformation.
Own and enhance the in-house letter application that stages data in SQL Server, uses C# to generate Word docs, and converts to PDF.
Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion workflows.
Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch.
Perform data analysis, testing, and production support; resolve data, performance, and letter-generation issues.
Create and maintain technical documentation including designs and data flows.
Contribute to data mart development, EDI X12 processes, and EDW/reporting.
