Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and implement complex enterprise solutions across the enterprise. You will work with data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and SMEs to deliver design, development, testing, and support while aligning with business goals.

The role involves creating and optimizing SQL Server objects, maintaining an in-house letter application, and developing ETL workflows with SSIS.

Qualifications

• Requires 4–6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, index creation, performance tuning).
• Requires 3+ years of C# development and 3+ years of SSIS development.
• Experience with EDI and Healthcare/Managed Care data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex enterprise software solutions across the business.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects to stage and transform data for correspondence.
• Own and enhance the in-house letter application using C# to produce Word documents and PDF conversion.
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support jobs with ActiveBatch; analyze data issues and performance.
