Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data solutions. You will work with data modelers, architects, business analysts, and SMEs to deliver robust ETL processes and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities include building SQL Server objects, maintaining an in-house letter application, and creating SSIS workflows. Experience with healthcare data and EDI is preferred; a BA/BS in a quantitative or business field is required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)
• 3+ years of C# development experience
• 3+ years of SSIS development experience
• Experience with EDI preferred
• Healthcare/Managed Care data experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions across the data/ETL stack.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects to stage and transform healthcare data.
• Own and enhance the in-house letter application (Word generation via C#; SSIS conversion).
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion workflows.
